One heck of an interesting school year

Man I've been waiting for so long to get on here and update my blog!
Okay so I've had two more Water polo games, no three Water Polo games, since I last wrote on here, and the scores came out to be:

Pitman- 7-11 L

West- 20-5 W :)

Bear Creek- 16-6 W :)

Bytheway, in the West game I scored 6 goals! That's the most amount of goals that I've ever scored in a single game! That felt great. Oh and bytheway I made a little "bet" with Brother Lewis, my new young men's president. He has a son who also plays Water Polo, except he (the son) plays for Johansen (the school that's the team to beat) as the goalie. So the "bet" that we shook hands on is that out of all of the shots that I shoot, if I make more shots (meaning if the majority of the shots I take are goals) then Brother Lewis will buy me a milkshake. If Brian, (Brother Lewis's son) blocks more shots than I shoot then Brian gets the milkshake. To be honest this hasn't pumped me up as much as it ought to, but now I'm going to make a resolve to bring practice to a whole new level, because I want that milkshake darn it and I really want to beat Joho really bad before I graduate!

So on Tuesday I'll be playing at Modesto High school. (To Grandma and Grandpa: This was the school that you watched me make all of those goals two years ago. That's where I'll be playing.) On Thursday we'll be playing against Beyer. I have some apprehensions against Beyer since I nearly got in a fight last year and the ref. kept both me and the other guy out of the game temporarily. The reason why this happened is because they are the dirtiest players ever! I even got a hole in my suit because my Speedo got grabbed by some guy on their team. Anyway I hope that this does not happen this year.

On a happier note, I got to make a pizza yesterday with Molly. I finished it up pretty quickly though, not surprisingly. It was really fun being able to be with Molly again. I introduced her to a game known as Crossing the Plains. It's a game based on the experience of the Mormon pioneers, and she beat me at the game. She also beat me at Hand and Foot. That's a card game that Grandma and Molly got me hooked on. So it was really nice that I got to do all of that, but before I did that I went on the Prop. 8 precinct.

I really loved doing those, walking with Ryan and getting people's opinions on voting for Prop. 8. That was fun, and it helped to create great bonding time between us (although that's probably not what Ryan would say) and it's something to put on my college resume! Yesterday though I went with Mom instead because Ryan went with Dan Taylor, who was new to this experience and needed Ryan's help. We covered the areas right by Beyer high school, the cheater Water Polo school. Afterward Mom and I went to The Yogurt Mill and got frozen yogurt, it was great!

So I read Grandpa's forwarded letter and it got me thinking about Prop. 8 and all of the things that we, me included, have been fighting for. I feel great knowing that I'm fighting on the Lord's side but I'm also apprehensive, and a little scared, about the future of the United States. I'm trying to keep positive things into my head, and I'm praying, along with Mom, that Prop. 8 will pass.

So seminary is going on great! Sister Decker, my teacher, literally said that Mom was one of her favorite women of all time, plus Ryan once had her, which means that I've already scored major legacy points! Well she's a great teacher, she's nice too and Mom has already told me how much she loves Sister Decker. So seminary seems to be going in the right direction, and we're studying the New Testament.

Okay so I have three "prayer requests" in other words things that I, or anyone else need for the readers to pray over:

1. I need prayers that my friend will be receptive to the Gospel. I have a friend at school, in choir specifically, that has told me that she is interested in the church. I have tried twice to introduce her to it, once through the missionaries and twice by asking her to come to the SNA with me. She ended up being busy with something both times. So, I'm really excited that I'll be able to introduce the gospel to her, but I'll need Heavenly Father's help, and yours too.
2. I need your prayers that I'll be able to overcome this math block that I'm having. Seriously I have to pass this class, no ifs ands or buts about it. It's the easiest math class available to me and I've already dropped out of one math class once. I've arranged a time to meet my teacher and receive the help I need, so that will be one step closer to a solution.
3. Kate, Allie, and Ev need your prayers too. I'm sure you all know why, but this has got to be a really difficult time for them. I remember how hard it has been for me to cope with my parent's divorce and I do not want them to go through the same experience again. Please send Aunt Cindy and Uncle Jim your love too.

Well that's the update of my life.
